SUMMARY:  

Through the use of data and assessments, work to develop and deliver meaningful instruction interventions in collaboration with classroom teachers based upon student need.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Work with students to increase student achievement
  2. Organize and work with intervention groups
  3. Participate collaboratively in PLC to analyze, problem solve and make instructional decisions based on data
  4. Ability to provide staff development on interventions and other related topics
  5. Tracking individual student growth
  6. Organize assessments and input data
  7. Supervise, train, and schedule instructional assistants
  8. Perform such other duties and assumes such other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Superintendent/Designee

EVALUATION:  Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provision of the Board policy or evaluation of professional personnel. 

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret education materials and programs; ability to write reports, procedure manuals, and correspondence; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of teachers, students, administration, and the community.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: 

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference; ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
